Scott Jones is a percussion educator and performer based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. He received his Music Education degree from the University of North Texas. After graduating, he began his career in the Austin area where he worked with percussion students throughout the area in various settings.

During his time at UNT, Mr. Jones performed with the world-renowned Green Brigade Drumline, under the direction of Paul Rennick, the 8 O'Clock Steel Band, the Percussion Players, directed by Christopher Deane, and the UNT Brass Band under the direction of Professor David Childs.

 

Outside of school, Mr. Jones enjoys playing video games, reading, and cheering on his favorite sports teams.
